Expressive Drawing – in person – Mondays 6.30 – 8.30pm for 6 weeks, Feb 14th – March 21st upstairs at Thistle Hall, Upper Cuba St Wellington

This class creates a space where learning, making mistakes, and relaxing through creative play is ok and welcomed. Lets make a mess, get moving on the page, and enjoy some time together!Learn to draw, or hone your skills with new, surprising and fun exercises. Beginners welcome! We generate a wide variety of marks and approaches to drawing, diving in and covering our pages with new experiments and trials. We bring these techniques to drawing our fantastic models, dressed in costumes and clothes with textures, shine and colour. and also working with more abstract approaches. You will produce vibrant and exciting drawings, and lots of them!

We cover: gesture drawing, extended gesture, composition, selection of work, reflection on our processes, and much more!
