I have been drawing for well over a decade, using my hands to make experimental drawings that are big, expressive and exciting! My subject is always the embodied, living person – what is it like to be in a body, this body?
I taught at Massey University School of Fine Art for seven years, and left on this lucky number to teach my own classes with my philosophy of expression, experiment and warm welcome.
My classes facilitate and encourage you to find out about drawing in new and safe ways. They are always suitable to all levels of drawing experience, and my teaching is encouraging, experienced and supportive.
I have exhibited nationally and internationally, and I work from a studio in Wellington, New Zealand.
